Dear parents of the first-graders!
It is very important to understand how to organize children’s space and time during quarantine, because it is not just sitting at home.
In order to maintain a positive emotional state and meaningful leisure time for first-grade children, parents need to plan their child’s day together. Determine the time when your child should work on the study material, what household chores he or she will do, and how much time he or she will spend resting (in front of the TV, computer, etc.).
Parents are confused: schools are forced to switch to remote learning. Some of them associate quarantine with vacations, and some are frightened by the situation, as our first-graders have not yet gotten used to independent learning.
The first-grader needs to be reassured: you can explain the situation and assure him or her of full support.
For the attention of parents! Always demonstrate a conscious lifestyle by your own example. If you are calm, organized, and doing the best you can for your body and your family, your child will not be left behind. Now we need to be especially patient and careful with ourselves and our children.
The teacher provides daily homework assignments in social networks and messengers (Viber, Skype, WhatsApp, Telegram). The tasks are assigned and practiced in accordance with the materials in the printed activity books according to the lesson schedule. Feedback is organized by the teacher at a time and in a way convenient for him or her and the parents (social networks, messengers, e-mail). If necessary, the teacher provides advice, recommendations, and answers questions. If the child needs personal assistance from the teacher in learning the educational material, individual consultations are held.
Dear parents! Do not neglect to complete the tasks. Work together with your children in the “Alphabet House,” the number table, develop memory and vocabulary with the tasks “Camera” and “Balloons.” Practice the rules with the Wise Owl, help Bustler and Dunno correct mistakes and write calligraphy, sing songs together, compete in the “Great Race” and “Star Race,” draw word pictures, and work with geographic maps.
The teacher and your children will advise you on how to perform each task.
We encourage you to make short videos about your child’s leisure time and share them in the parent group. Watch the videos together with your children. This way, first-graders will not feel socially isolated.
We wish you good health, success in your work, and joy in communicating with your children. Remember that you are the wisest parents!
